At One Dental, it feels a little like Christmas has come early. The countdown is complete, and the FDI World Dental Congress is happening. As if spring couldn't get any better, we're also delighted to present a comprehensive recap of our course on the atraumatic teeth extraction technique.

Atraumatic teeth extraction technique at Race Dental

On Friday, August 18, we presented Atraumatic Extraction of Primary Teeth Using Periotomes, Luxators and Elevator at Race Dental in Castle Hill. Special guests included Leah Hobbs, Assoc. Prof Cathy Snelling and CEO and Founder of One Dental Joanne Stanbury.

We were extremely proud of all participants for taking on this journey and coming away with the ability to immediately implement what they had learned, resulting in significantly improved extraction skills for real patients. The event's purpose extended beyond knowledge acquisition - it also served as a platform for building a supportive network that will benefit each participant’s future in dentistry.

An overwhelming response from over half of our attendees has fuelled our commitment to expanding our course offerings in the coming months. The positive feedback underlined the value of our small class sizes, which provided a unique opportunity for engaging in discussions on real cases with seasoned clinicians.

About FDI World Dental Congress

From September 24-27, the FDI World Dental Congress is hitting Sydney, and One Dental can’t wait to be part of it. Co-hosted by the Australian Dental Association, this is an exceptional platform and an exciting opportunity for the dental profession and dental industry to be under one roof. The World Dental Congress is a flagship continuing education event for FDI, with an aim to connect the global oral health community.

What can attendees expect? A leading scientific program on the art and science of dentistry, featuring interactive discussions and forums and a dental exhibition. The objective is to explore creative approaches to deliver the highest standard of oral healthcare to global populations.

For One Dental, this isn't your typical dental show with 50 speakers and a visit to the exhibition hall. It's an immersive experience. Over the four days, we'll feature up to five presenters, each having twenty minutes, equipped with microphones, models and live demonstrations relevant to their topics. In-depth courses will follow several of these presentations in the months ahead, so be sure to look out for the QR codes to register.
